For wireless operation and easier installation, simply use the included CR123A batteries. You can select for notifications to be sent when the battery level is low.

Motion sensor with rechargeable battery

The WiFi motion sensor boasts a decent range for motion detection and limited options for adjusting sensitivity. It comes with two rechargeable batteries and has a detachable front for easy wall mounting. During testing with a light, a noticeable delay in response was observed. For personal preference, I would opt to use the Smart Life app instead of the Grid Connect App.
